From the moment your child arrives at Abbey Wood Grange Nursery they’re welcomed into a warm, caring environment filled with sensory exploration, thoughtful routines and genuinely nurturing attention. Our rooms for children aged between 3 months and 5 years are designed to support the journey from newborn to independent learner, with experienced practitioners who understand every stage of development.
Our enclosed garden gives children space to play and explore safely, while our sensory room and soft-play area support their development and confidence.
While based in Kenley, we are just a six-minute drive from Purley and within easy reach of Whyteleafe, Sanderstead, Caterham, Coulsdon, and Warlingham, making us a convenient choice for families in the area. Kenley train station is also only a few minutes’ walk away.

Our Rooms
As children grow, they move through three carefully designed rooms, each tailored to their developmental stage. Each room is equipped with age-appropriate resources, secure outdoor access, and a team that knows every child’s individual needs and personality. Transitions between rooms are gradual and carefully supported, with familiar faces, consistent routines, and plenty of time for children to feel safe, confident, and ready for the next step of pre-school.
