Our Baby Nursery, South Croydon

"Abbey Wood Grange is a lovely nursery, both of my daughters attend. My youngest is in the baby room with fabulous key workers. She loves going to nursery each day and launches for her key worker when we arrive, which is lovely to be able to leave her happy. The nursery offers an excellent service, adapting their routines to that of yours at home and has excellent structured play/learning in the day including special visits from The Music Man which the children love and other musical visitors which stimulate and provide variation to the children.

My eldest who joined the nursery at 9 months, is now 2.5 years and has been through the rooms, now in the toddler room, loves nursery. The toddler room is a great size, overlooking the garden with the outdoor play area, she loves the romp room which they go to at least once a week and each day she comes home having done a different activity - dressing up, colouring, painting, creative play, learning about emotions, it's fabulous. We love Abbey Wood. "

"We knew the moment we set foot in this nursery that it was different to all the others we viewed because the whole atmosphere was so bright and cheery, and everyone we met seemed genuinely happy to be there, staff and children alike.

The managers are lovely and really hands-on and have day-to-day involvement with the children, which I think is important. The carers are fantastic and really engage with the children well, from everything we've seen both in the baby and toddler unit.

We honestly couldn't be happier with the nursery, and our daughter loves it there despite initially being a very clingy baby when we first enrolled her.

The extended opening hours and proximity to the station make commuting into London really easy too."

"My daughter has been going to Abbey Wood for almost a year now and she absolutely loves it. Gets so excited when she realises where we're going. Within weeks of her being in the baby room, we noticed huge progress with her walking and talking and this is all thanks to the amazing staff. Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly, management never makes you feel silly when you ask a question about things, they are very reassuring. Couldn't imagine sending my daughter anywhere else."

"All the staff at the nursery have been really great at looking after and teaching both my children so much. They come home having learnt so many things I didn't know they would be taught, whilst playing with friends. I had no concerns sending my baby into the pink room and watching them develop as they've moved up has been a joy. A recent change to the menus has gone down a treat too! I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere fun and caring with great facilities."

Both my children have attended since they were 10-months old and have thrived in all the different rooms from the lovely baby and toddler room to the tweenie rooms. My children look forward to going to nursery and love the outdoor play areas."
